Our kitchen gallery

A selection of real kitchens we have designed, handmade and installed in homes across Cheshire — from hand-painted Shaker and in-frame classics to sleek, handleless contemporary designs.

There is only so much a brochure can tell you about a kitchen. The proof is in the finished room: how the doors line up, how the worktop meets the wall, how the colour looks in real daylight rather than a showroom spotlight. That is why we would always rather show you our own work than a catalogue of stock photography. Every kitchen on this page was designed, built and fitted by our own team for a real customer somewhere in Cheshire, and every one of them is still being lived in and cooked in today.

Real kitchens in real Cheshire homes

The homes behind these photographs are as varied as the county itself — Victorian terraces, 1930s semis, country cottages, modern extensions and new builds. None of them came with a perfectly square room or a textbook layout, and that is rather the point. Because we make every kitchen to measure, we design around the chimney breast, the sloping ceiling, the awkward corner and the window in the wrong place, so the finished kitchen fits as though the house was built around it. When you look through the gallery, notice how the cabinetry runs cleanly into the walls and how the proportions suit each room; that fit is the result of careful measuring and genuine cabinetmaking, not luck.

What you are looking at

Across these projects you will see most of our collection in action. There are deep, characterful greens and charcoals on classic Shaker frames; warm, hand-painted country kitchens with larders and range cookers; and crisp, handleless runs in grey and white for more contemporary spaces. You will spot our signature pairings too — brushed-bronze handles against dark cabinetry, quartz and stone worktops, marble-effect splashbacks and herringbone floors. Whatever the style, the standard of build is the same: solid, hand-finished doors, soft-close drawers, and a level of finish that still looks right years after fitting. If a particular kitchen catches your eye, the same look can be recreated for your home in any colour from our palette.

From first visit to finished room

Every kitchen shown here began the same way: with a free home visit. We came out, measured up, listened to how the household wanted to cook and live, and prepared a design and a clear, itemised quote with no obligation. Once the design was approved, the cabinetry was made to order in our workshop, hand-painted where required, and then installed by our own time-served fitters — with the plastering, electrics, plumbing, tiling and decorating all coordinated into a single schedule. There was no handing over to a subcontracted crew and no juggling of separate trades. One team took responsibility from the first measurement to the final coat, which is exactly why these kitchens have come together so cleanly.

Ideas to take from the gallery

A gallery is as much a source of ideas as a record of finished work, so it is worth looking beyond the overall style to the details that make each kitchen work. Notice the colour pairings — a darker island or run of tall units against lighter perimeter cabinets is one of the most effective ways to give a kitchen depth without it feeling heavy. Look at how the handles change the character of a door: brushed-bronze bars and cup pulls warm up a cool grey, while a handleless edge keeps a contemporary run clean and uninterrupted. Pay attention to the worktops and splashbacks, too, where a marble-effect quartz or a stone upstand can quietly lift the whole room. And consider the layout — where the island sits, how the seating is arranged, how a larder or a bank of tall units keeps the worktops clear. These are exactly the decisions we will help you make during your design visit, and seeing them resolved in real homes makes them far easier to picture in your own.

Picture your own kitchen here

We hope this gallery gives you a genuine sense of what we do and the standard you can expect — but the best way to imagine your own kitchen is to talk it through with us in your own home. Browse the photographs below for ideas on colour, layout and finishes, then book a free design visit and we will help you turn the look you like into a kitchen that fits your space, your budget and the way you live. Many of the homeowners whose kitchens appear here found us through a neighbour's recommendation, and we would be delighted to add your project to this page in the months to come. There is no obligation and no hard sell — just honest advice, a detailed plan and a price you can rely on, from the team who will actually design, build and fit your kitchen.
