Privacy notice
This notice explains how Fitted Kitchens Cheshire ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. It was last updated on 14 October 2026.
Who we are
We are Fitted Kitchens Cheshire, a fitted-kitchen design and installation business operating in Cheshire. You can contact us by phone on 0800 246 1120 or by email at hello@fittedkitchenscheshire.co.uk. We are the data controller for the information you provide to us.
What information we collect
When you complete our contact form or email or call us, we collect the details you choose to give us — typically your name, email address, telephone number, your preferred time to be contacted, and any information you include in your message about your project. We do not ask for, or knowingly collect, any special-category (sensitive) personal data through this website.
How we use your information
We use the details you provide solely to respond to your enquiry, to arrange and carry out a design visit, to prepare a quotation, and — if you go ahead — to design, supply and install your kitchen and provide aftercare. The lawful bases we rely on are your consent and, where you become a customer, the performance of a contract with you and our legitimate interest in running our business and keeping records of the work we carry out.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We will only share your information where it is necessary to deliver your project — for example with trusted tradespeople or suppliers working on your kitchen — or where we are required to do so by law. Any third parties we use are expected to keep your data secure and to use it only for the purpose for which it was shared.
How long we keep it
If you enquire but do not proceed, we keep your enquiry for a reasonable period and then delete it. If you become a customer, we retain your records for as long as necessary to provide our guarantee and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which they are securely deleted.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this notice and seek your consent where required.
How we keep your data secure
We take the security of your information seriously. Enquiries submitted through this website are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we store your details only where it is necessary to deal with your enquiry or your project. Access to your information is limited to the members of our team who need it to do their job, and we keep it for no longer than is necessary. When records are no longer required, they are securely deleted or destroyed.
Marketing
We will not add you to a marketing list or send you promotional messages simply because you have made an enquiry. If at any point we offer an optional newsletter or similar, it will be on a clear opt-in basis, and you will be able to unsubscribe at any time. The details you give us through the contact form are used to respond to that enquiry, not to market to you.
Children's privacy
Our services are aimed at homeowners and our website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Where your data is held
Your information is held within the United Kingdom by us and by the reputable hosting and email providers we rely on to run our website and communicate with you. If any provider we use stores data outside the UK, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by data-protection law.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete it, and to object to or restrict our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
The lawful bases we rely on
Data-protection law requires us to have a valid reason, known as a lawful basis, for using your personal data. When you make an enquiry, we rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in responding to potential customers and running our business. If you go on to commission work from us, we rely on the performance of our contract with you, and on our legitimate interest in keeping proper records of the work carried out. Where the law requires us to keep certain records — for example for tax and accounting — we rely on our legal obligations. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time by contacting us.

Our website may contain links to other sites, including those of suppliers, trade bodies or related businesses. This privacy notice applies only to our own website, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites. We encourage you to read the privacy notice of any website you visit through a link from ours.
